April-98:     I had a burden to take the two signs I made and stand on the freeway off ramp for one hour. One sign said "Any offering for a clean and sober street minister and missionary to california. A cross with "Jesus Saves" and "Wake up America". The sign was in color pencil. The second sign was a 11X14 calvary scene and said "Jesus Saves". The second sign was in a frame.

While standing with my signs, a man in an old pickup truck stopped at the light and his truck died. His truck wouldn't start and I re-directed traffic around him so they wouldn't rear end him. He stopped right where I was standing. He went for gas and I watched his truck for him. When he returned, I told him I didn't think this was a coincidence and wanted to give him a tract. He graciously accepted and was grateful to me for watching his truck, and making sure no-one hit him. I also collected enough money for my supper.
