Testimony: Food on bus bench

Feb. 98:     I was in camp and it was evening. Was craving for fried chicken, and walked to church’s chicken fast food place. As I entered the restaurant, a homeless man asked me for money so he could buy some more chicken. He had eaten some because it was all over his face. I told him I was homeless too; and just blew him off.  When I started to order my food, I was convicted and the Lord directed me to give this man my meal. I told the man to have a seat, and I would bring him a meal. When he received the meal, he was very happy and ate like he was very hungry. I gave him a tract and hit the streets.

I started worshipping the Lord and was praying in the streets. It was getting late; and it appeared that the busses had stopped running. I stopped and rested on a bus bench. When I looked down, there was a small bag of groceries on the bench. I knew this had to be from the Lord and I brought some of the groceries back to camp.
