Fire Alarm at Food Bowl

March/April-98:     The Fire Alarm on the closed boarded up building next door-- was set to go off approximately every 12 minutes-- 24 hours a day-- seven days a week. This was on a timer and was suppose to discourage street people from sleeping near the building.

This went on for about 2-3 months. The alarm is the same ringing on the U.S. Navy ships, and it was very difficult for me to sleep; and I would wake up--all hours of the night. I prayed for the Lord to kill the alarm; and it fell silent in about 3 months. I think a storm took it out.
